Teen weight loss can be a very touchy subject for teens and parents. Teenagers are at a very critical point in both their physical and hormonal growth and development. It is important for teenagers to not compare themselves with the super models and celebrities they see on the television and in the movies. This can give them a very jaded view as to what a healthy body looks like. Before any weight loss program begins, teens should work on having a positive body image for themselves.
