This position is responsible for the field sales of Newland NA barcode scanning and mobile technology. As the front-line seller, this role will focus on retail enterprises and work closely with the NA Sales Head to develop sales strategies and tactics. In addition, this role will cooperate and collaborate with other sales team members to win marketing and strategic opportunities.

What the role will do:

Forecast, maintain and provide reports and opportunity status to build a solid, predictable and recurring revenue.
Develop new opportunities and customer relationships in retail, medical and other verticals.
Build and close a pipeline of significant Annual Revenue.
Conduct timely Business Reviews with your customers, share product roadmaps, identify areas of improvement, and assist with the training of our products.
Foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations.
Work closely with Field Application Engineer to generate funnel and prospect at accounts.
Summary of duties:

40%-Winning New Business: Your hunting ground will be the USA and your targets include large retail chain suppliers and enterprises, medical and healthcare players and etc.
30%- Sales: Your successful track record will include work experience within the AIDC, scanning, POS or retail industries where you will have taken a solution-oriented sales approach to the full sales life-cycle, driving company growth by consistently building and maintaining a healthy pipeline.
20%-Account Management: Building a relationship within your accounts is a priority to you and you’ll have built solid relationships with mid and senior level executives across the business, marketing, and technology teams.
10%-Partnering with Pre-Sales Engineers: You’ll aid the team in designing solutions.
You must have:

Bachelor s Degree in technical or engineering discipline

Qualities about you that might make this decision easier:

Some experience selling the technology found in handheld scanners, pocketable and wearable scanners, hands-free scanners, and or fixed and bioptic scanners
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quotas using a consultative/solution selling approach
A customer-driven focus and the ability to quickly pivot in a fast-paced environment.
A tech-savvy mind, with a good understanding of the trends driving innovation in technology
You independently tackle challenges and don t need anyone to keep you on track. You're organized and efficient with a self-starter attitude.
An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction to customer
An ability to influence customers decisions, while maintaining healthy relationships
The ability to travel depending upon the demands of the region
